Intuitive, Efficient, and Perfect for Beginners

As a complete newbie to the world of 3D printing, I couldn’t be happier with my experience so far with the AnkerMake M5. This printer has been a joy to use, and its ease of operation is, without a doubt, its standout feature. From start to finish, it feels thoughtfully designed for beginners while still offering the depth that more advanced users would appreciate.

Unboxing and Setup
The unboxing experience was fantastic. The packaging was carefully designed, and the assembly instructions were incredibly clear and straightforward. I was up and running in no time, which speaks volumes about how user-friendly this printer is.

User Interface and App
The screen on the printer itself is another highlight. The information displayed is easy to read, relevant, and useful. The accompanying app has been a game-changer as well—it lets you monitor prints via camera and provides helpful details like the estimated time of completion. This added convenience has made the entire process smoother and more enjoyable. While the AI functionality isn’t particularly impressive, I don’t find myself missing it at all.

Software and Performance
AnkerMake Studio is easy to navigate, even for someone new to 3D printing. I’ve already started experimenting with the expert settings, and the process has been intuitive. As for the print quality, it’s fantastic. I’ve realized that the quality often depends more on the file than the printer itself, but this machine consistently delivers excellent results. The speed is another big plus—quick and efficient without compromising on quality.

Overall Experience
My first steps into 3D printing have been an absolute joy, and that’s largely thanks to how easy and intuitive AnkerMake has made everything. The combination of great hardware, well-thought-out software, and a seamless user experience has left me thoroughly impressed.

If you’re new to 3D printing or just looking for a reliable and user-friendly machine, I highly recommend the AnkerMake M5. It’s been a wonderful introduction to this creative world, and I’m excited to keep exploring its potential.

Great Printer / Amazing customer service

With how much you pay for other printers like the Ender or Prusa, the AnkerMake is definitely giving you what you paid. The printer is great! The quality for how fast it prints is impressive.

Customer service is what really drove me to write this review though.
The printer stopped extruding for me after a couple weeks and Jack, from customer service, worked with me through every step (very patiently) to help me resolve the issue. They covered the cost of all replacement parts and shipping. Some of the best customer service I have ever encountered.

I expected some errors with a printer new on the market but they made dealing with it as easy as it could be. All you need is a little patience.

Print faster and and still achieve better quality prints than last generation printers

There are printers that are faster, and printers that are cheaper... but overall the amount of effort required to print is minimal and the fit and finish and overall ease of use for me were the key selling points.

I bought this printer knowing it was pretty low drama, and for the advertised print speeds (I never had the patience for prints that took 10s of hours). I've printed so many things with this printer at speeds well above recommended print speeds (for that model) and the end result was quite a bit better than printers even a year or two old.

I'm new to the hobby and don't need anything industrial. The AI functionality is hit and miss (seems to be dependent on printing filament with enough contrast from the print plate. Overall though I actually am not worried about it... because the M5 prints things so well even at speed. I tend to go dangerous in the sense I'll try printing complex jobs with no supports, brim, or anythign first... and if it fails add those things back... except even printing above recommended speed for some models more often than not results in successful prints.
